A train line is literally just behind my backyard, and I don't even hear the trains now. Aside from the occasional fret ones who make my whole house shake

I live near an airport too.. but it's been 4 years now and I'm used to the sounds...but if I were in your situation, I'd download an app for background sounds. Personally I like ocean waves or wind sounds maybe with a hint of distant frog sounds

I live right above a daycare so there's constantly screaming children

i live in downtown seattle so i hear buses and crazy people screaming outside like...24/7

You get used to it after a while

I lived with a freight train behind my house with trains literally every 10 mins or so. Earplugs are your friend.

There is a train station near my house, so sometimes I hear the horn sound from the trains, but not that much, and I've gotten used to it over my whole life.
My neighbor also used to run a daycare service at her house, so I would hear screaming noises a lot, but she cancelled the daycare recently since she got a new job.

I live in a busy area of London and the city bustle is SO comforting to me. Makes me feel relaxed and safe.

I live in the most populous city and district in my country and I love it. It wasn't easy at first, but I've grown to love it. The noise lowkey comforts me(except when there's a ****ing road reconstruction outside and they're drilling the **** away). Anyway I can't imagine myself living in a quiet neighborhood. I feel like I'll go crazy nn
