Luke Bryan's team has issued a statement after the country singer hit a "disruptive" heckler during his performance Wednesday night at the Charlie Daniels' all-star Volunteer Jam concert in Nashville.
"A man in [the] front row was making crude hand gestures toward Luke during his performance," the statement reads. "It was insulting not only to him, but more importantly to the men, women and families sitting around him who were there to support and celebrate Charlie Daniels and the efforts of raising money for the military veterans -- some of who were in the audience. The concert security personnel saw the man's disruptive actions of the event and he was escorted out."
Footage of the incident surfaced online showing Bryan performing his single "Move" when a man sitting in the front row begins flipping him off. Bryan then engaged with the audience member before stepping down to hit him -- microphone in hand -- and then return to the song to finish the chorus.
I would have security remove him, not punch him cuz he could end up suing and winning money. Not smart Luke hire security and have them escort the person away in the future.
Did you read the OP? He had a reason for getting mad, maybe that was a bit too much, especially in front of an audience when he could've asked for his team to take that man out.
Better yet, at 17 seconds he makes it obvious that he's lip syncing. Punch made with mic hand, no thud, and a few words are clear as the mic is at hip level. FRAUD "LIVE".
