HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) -
Dozens of teens rushed their way into a Connecticut gas station this weekend and ransacked the store.
This type of robbery has become popular on the Internet and now, these incidents have been reported in Connecticut.
The manager of the convenience store released surveillance video of a large group of children pilling into the shop on Capitol Avenue. Seconds later, the teens were seen leaving with candy and snacks in their hands. The incident left $4,000 of damage on the property.
“They knocked everything on the floor,” store manager Ameer Orjani said. “The candy box. They took some, but they damaged everything for the candy.”
