Billboard.com discusses Justin Bieber's upcoming change of hairstyle, and provides a few options of their own, mostly for humor. :] Peek their potential Bieb-cuts below! What do you think?
The Timberlake: When Justin Timberlake wanted to move from an 'N Sync heartthrob to a serious solo artist, he traded his much-loved curls for a buzz cut -- and it certainly served him well. What better footsteps for Bieber, who has sported a buzz cut during his pre-fame days, to follow in?
The Bublé: Realistically, Michael Bublé's fashionable yet modest spike could be a great grown-up look for young Bieber. Unfortunately, it may cause him to start singing Sinatra covers long before his pop reign is through.
The Ellen: Perhaps the color is a bit drastic, but Ellen DeGeneres' signature 'do wouldn't actually be much of a change from Justin's signature swoop. Plus he could still maintain all those lesbian comparisons, a la popular blog
Lesbians Who Look Like Justin Bieber.
The Groban: While not exactly teen idol-worthy, Josh Groban's luscious brown curls would match the Biebz's eyebrows. However, the conditioning routine could become too much, considering Bieber's demanding schedule.
The Pauly D: We can neither confirm nor deny that Justin Bieber watches "Jersey Shore," but we think the Pauly D blow-out should be on his radar. Plus, Pauly dressed up as Biebz for Halloween last year, so this would be a good way to return the props.
The Leto: 30 Seconds to Mars frontman Jared Leto knows a thing or two about being a teen idol, so perhaps sporting the former "My So-Called Life" star's blond faux-hawk would transition Bieber into a bad-boy rocker phase.
The Bret Michaels: This one is tricky. Not only would Justin have to grow out his hair (or get extensions), he'd have to commit to wearing both a bandana and a cowboy hat at all times, a la Poison frontman Bret Michaels. Not wise if he's prone to overheating, but it's something to think about.
The King of Pop: Biebz has admitted Michael Jackson is one of his inspirations. What better way to pay homage to him than rocking his "Thriller"-era 'do. He kind of resembles
Corey Feldman during his MJ phase, dontcha think?
The Lambert: We're not sure about this one ourselves. He'd have to find the right styling pomade and dye-job routine -- not to mention take attitude lessons from Glambert himself -- but maybe Lambert's punky 'do could work. Or maybe not.
The Daughtry: As "American Idol" rocker Chris Daughtry knows, skin is in. So maybe, with so much focus being put on his hair, Bieber will go in the complete opposite direction and rock the no-hair look. Let's hope it doesn't go quite that far, though.
