Rabat – Moroccan women launched a petition on Friday calling for Morocco’s government and the High Authority for Audio-visual Communication, known better as HACA, to penalize National television service, 2M, for broadcasting “tutorial instructions for females to hide bruises of domestic violence,” on its daily morning show “Sabahiyates,” on Wednesday.
I don't think they meant it in a bad way, they're not that dumb but still it's tacky.
If a human being gets beaten, it's only normal that that person would like to cover it up, especially a women, no one wants to get stared at.
This has no place on tv though, it's extremely sensitive.

Different countries, different cultures. It would be interesting to know why the show thought it was okay to broadcast this type of content. I'm sure there is a good reason for it.
Does their culture frown upon divorce or think women are mostly to blame for their beatens? If so, then there's one reason.
This is sad that they felt this was even necessary and it is definitely tacky to say the least. But I don't think they meant offense. They obviously did it because they consider it such a big enough problem to address it. I think their approach was that they were trying to offer women a temporary solution to a much bigger problem.
Well you're trying to make it seem like that was the norm when it's no worse than this:
And as a result you can get the typical "Oh it's their culture, they must think it's okay to beat up women and eat dogs" nonsense when it's obvious this was just in bad taste and it triggered outrage within the citizens there. The thread is too transparent.

(1) please learn how to use IMG tags I don't get why you keep posting links to gifs instead of embedding them
(2) that is so Islamaphobic to conflate Islam and domestic violence
"Islamophobia" isn't a real thing, so please. To stay on topic, it's disgusting and I'm glad women are protesting. The only way to respond to domestic violence is by doing something concrete about it - leave the man and speak up against him!

lol what? I read it on the online newspaper and thought it was ATRL worthy, if people reply with racist post it's their fault not mine.
I don't think it's appropriate at all, I think it's disgusting to show how to cover your bruises... they need to be shown not covered.
But it also says women in the country protested and had it removed so there is a silver lining there
