Muslim media are anti-Israel which in many cases leads to some muslims being very anti-semitic. Every time news about an Israeli killing a palestinian emerges on a news portal in my country (even if it was in self-defence), a lot of the comments made by religious muslims will be inherently anti-semitic, praising Hitler for "turning them into soap" (read: burning them in ovens), quoting a very widespread fake saying of Hitler justifying leaving some jews alive "so the rest of the world could see why he killed them in the first place" etc etc.

I was supposed to go there tonight to see my best friend, my favorite city in the country being in this situation... it hurts to see and I hope it will all calm down as soon as possible.

I was in Haifa, where over 60,000 people have been evacuated less than two months ago.

It could be. Israel is such a small tiny country that a wildfire in the Canada or US, happening in the forests, could literally completely burn down all of Israel because it's such a small country. Add in the fact that their super dry and unbearable weather is probably helping these fires grow at a rapid pace and you have a devastating result like those pics and videos in the OP.
