The experience that Kim Kardashian went through in Paris last month has not only affected her, but the paparazzi in town as well.
One of the photographers who was assigned to following Kim‘s every moment during her trips to the city has spoken to Vanity Fair about how the paparazzi reacted to her robbery and what this means for the future.
“It was like night had come during the day,” photographer Marc Piasecki said. “My first thought was The dream is over. I’m not kidding. There are lots of photographers thinking that. She’ll never come back. There will be lots of security. There will be a before and an after. This was the only big, major celebrity that we were authorized to take photos of without any problem. We could talk to her! So it’s hard.”
“To me, she’s No. 1, because whatever she does you make money,” Marc said.
Marc says that with Kim‘s frequent outfit changes every day means more opportunities for them to make money and that pictures can sell for “anywhere from three cents to $1,000, if a fashion designer buys the picture.”
Kim is also kind to the photographers. While many celebrities will give paparazzi the middle finger, she never does. “We always say, ‘Thank you, Kim.’ And she says, ‘Thank you, guys,’” he said.
That was a great read - it's beyond melodramatic that people think this is fake, she has gained nothing from it, she has withdrawn herself entirely and has blatantly been in shock ever since.
