A publicist for Lady Gaga has dismissed the leak of a new song, purported to be a track from the superstar's upcoming album Born This Way, as a fake.
The Poker Face hitmaker sent her fans into a frenzy after announcing on New Year's Eve that she is set to release her new single, Born This Way, on February 13, followed by a record of the same name on May 23.
And her devotees were thrilled after a track called Animal, believed to be from the forthcoming disc, hit the web earlier this week.
However, a representative for the star has denied it is Gaga who can be heard singing on the song.
The spokesperson says, "(The) reported leak is not a Gaga record."
It says it in the quote that they deny its her.......
They just say "it's not a Gaga record". That doesn't mean it's not her. It's probably something written for another artist. Gaga News, a fansite, was told by her team to tell everyone that it's Gaga but not for her new album.
It is her singing the song. They're denying it so it's not associated with BTW. GaGa sources denied the Alejandro demo clip Don't Call My Name was her when it leaked before TFM. They're hardly trustworthy.
