honestly, I've been wondering that same thing myself
the desire to be famous is ultimately rooted in narcissism
and since we live in such a hedonistic culture, we romanticize fame because of the really shallow benefits that come along with it, but it seems like it's more fun to look at than it is to live
every aspect of your life that is open to the public suddenly becomes a lie
you have to go out of your way to look your best at all times because you're not a person, you're a brand
you're walking out of buildings and smiling even when you're not happy
gotta keep that image right! remember what you PR says! can't let the paps catch ya frowning! lol!
if anyone thinks something is even remotely wrong with the way you look, it becomes worldwide gossip
you can't slip up and say the wrong thing in an interview because you might turn people off
you don't get to make the same mistakes as your anonymous counterparts because, if you do,
WHOOPS! there goes your audience! wave bye-bye to the money!
everyone you meet just kisses your ass because they don't even see you as a person
they see you as a *~famous~* person
everybody wants to be famous until they actually are
it's an ugly life to live
