I was browsing through ATRL and found these words: "Why are we acting like chart positions are the indicator of popularity and success anyway?"

If chart positions are not, then what should be?

No, that's just what people say when their faves songs flop

Personally I feel touring is the best indicator of success. If you can make a living off your tours and people actually show up for the music, who cares how many records you sold?

Obviously if you're making a living off of just selling in this day and age, you're doing fine too
