Put your point of view of Islam aside for few minutes please. A lot of members keep saying that Science> Religion, when in Islam science has always been a part of religion.

All these scientific explanations and facts were mentioned in Quran. The holy book of a prophet that didn't know how to read or to write and that lived all of his life in the middle of the desert.

Discuss.

Religion exists for questions we can't answer ourselves. It lives on ignorance.

Religion is wishful thinking. But people like feeling hopeful that miracles do happen.

I believe the only miracle is love. When we love each other, we become Godly.

Well I took the time to watch the videos before and the guy is just making fun of metaphors or things that were mistranslated from Arabic to English.

But you didn't take the time to post anything based on what I provided in the OP.

What I meant is, most of the lines the guy made fun of, lost their beauty when translated because they're metaphores.

Which lines? Post the "correct" translation according to you and then we'll compare to the "wrong" translation made by professional Islamic scholars

Islam is a very young religion. It came a lot later than Christianity and Islam. They learnt from mistakes of the other two and incorporated science in.

Science is what is known and religion is the unknowable, they can co-exist.

Quranic scientific foreknowledge is generally regarded as a pseudoscience, though.

Islam and the Middle East were very scientifically progressive in the MIDDLE AGES
