I liked the album, but I just think ATRL makes a bit of an overstatement when they say things like "pop bible." There are far better and much more acclaimed pop albums that have defined eras, genres, and were immensely impactful.
It's full of bops, but is that kind of it?
What is it about this album that this site (+ gays) love so much?
The small cult online following it got did not do it justice. That album had at minimum 3 pop smash classics (RAWM, Your Type, When I Needed You imo) and it's sad it didn't do what it could've.
But i KNOW her next era she is coming for blood...
Not for me but I admit that I had to lay it to rest for a while. I listened to it weekly for months. I still love the individual songs. They're eargasms.
