Venezuelan opposition alliance Democratic Unity Roundtable (MUD) today concluded its meeting held separately in Caracas to address their participation in the dialogue with the Government without deciding a final position between the parties that make it up, reported Efe sources close to meeting.

The same sources indicated that it is possible, however, that the dialogue with the Executive, scheduled for today with the mediation of the Vatican and the Union of South American Nations (Unasur) can begin tonight in a hotel in Caracas.

It seems Voluntad Popular is the most complicated party between all the opposition parties. (Obvious reasons). And Acción Democrática not going to dialogue if all 4 parties (VP, PJ, UNT and AD) don't go there.

The MUD coalition sucks because of this. Even the ones saying "I didn't know about it, I don't support it" are low-key authorizing Chuo Torrealba to go. Something tells me they're desperate for the regime to throw them a bone so they can cancel next week's march which is shaping up to be quite the street battle. The US and the Vatican are rooting for these negotiations so that's most definitely the reason why they're doing it.
