The whole thing is going to be massacre. On so many levels.

There will be the civilians killed during the combat, but then there will be the MESS of who gets the power in the city, and this mess will last for decades. Sunni ? ISIS are sunni extremist, Shia ? Mosul is majority sunni.

Praying for the civilians. Bush and Cheney should be on the frontline fighting this.
