Do you think it's wrong to encourage others to dump their education and start looking forward to an unguaranteed future? What makes some people assume that everyone has the "smarts" to run a business, or is even interested to begin with?
Do you agree that a marketable, solid college degree is still the most genuine and promising way to secure your future?

To be fair, a college diploma doesn't guarantee you anything, either. Given your odds are
better, but still.
I think, regardless of what you want to do, you have to first KNOW what you want to do. After that, it's a matter of doing whatever is necessary to get you to that point. A lot of very valid career options don't necessarily need any education further than high school.
In that sense, I wouldn't encourage someone to drop out, but I wouldn't encourage them to seek higher education, either. I'd really encourage people to discover what it is they really want from life first.
