Rob Thomas is so underrated as a songwriter. With Matchbox Twenty and as a solo artist, he has been churning out hits since 1996. Just look at this diversity (and all of it is good):

Yes. He's like super successful talented guy but this is the first I've heard his name in ages. I have some of his songs. But like outside of my own library he's been off the radar. It's a crime against humanity
