
The most flashy is a set of “camera glasses,” which are described as a stylish way to take pictures of what a wearer is seeing. Polaroid says users can instantly capture or upload photos with the built-in camera and then display them on the glasses’ LCD screens for others to see.
“Only Lady Gaga could create a hybrid that’s part fashion statement, part revolutionary technology and part tool for self-expression,” the company says in its marketing materials.
The GL20 Camera Glasses will be available later this year, at a price to be announced, Polaroid says.
Among other items in the GL line–GL stands for “grey label”–the first to arrive is slated to be a portable printer that can quickly make Polaroid-style paper copies of photos shot on a digital camera. The Polaroid GL10 printer is expected to be available in April with a suggested price of $149.99, the company says.
