Justin Ross Harris, from Atlanta, Georgia, is charged with murder after leaving his 22-month-old son Cooper in his car for about seven hours while he went to work on 18 June 2014.

The temperature that day reached as high as 31C, according to the first warrant filed in the case.

A court has heard that while he was at work, Harris, 34, sent explicit messages to a teenage girl and asked her for a photo of her breasts.
