If the stars align, it looks like Million Reasons will be the second single from JOANNE. The song is sticking with the GP and it's about time she had a nice ballad under her singles belt. Ballads are also album sellers (or at least they used to be) and the song is very safe.

Given that Christmas is quijcly approaching, do you think it would be a good strategy to release a Christmas mix? Same lyrics, but tweaked instrumentals that sound more seasonal.

I think the lyrics are just ambiguous enough for it to work. There are plenty of non-cheerful holiday songs (I'll be home for Christmas, blue Christmas).
