The Hurun Report's rich list is one of the most closely-watched and accurate assessments of wealth in China. The annual report has been published for the past 18 years.
Earlier this year, the publisher released a separate, global list, showing that the number of billionaires in China outnumbered those in the US for the first time.

Like, I don't believe that what makes the US so great are its top billionares. But how high the standard of living is for the middle/lower class compared to most of the societies of the world.

China can keep their rich old men, it proves NOTHING.

There are 1.375 billion people in China.
There are 325 million people in the US.

China concentrates important cities in their east coast, mainly Beijing and Shanghai, whereas the rest of the country is very isolated. The US has relevant cities and wealthy people all over their territory.

This means nothing. In fact this just shows the glaring inequality in the country. The poor in China are worse off than the poor in the States, and the middle strata are also worse off than the middle strata in the States. Plus all that corruption.
