The climate has changed. Why wouldn't the chart that tracks musical consumption in the most popular mediums ENTIRELY IGNORE whats arguably the biggest music medium right now?
Also, it's never been entirely about sales. In fact, there's been variations of the Hot 100 formula where radio play played a higher importance than sales.
