Do you swallow your own phlegm?
Like when you have a cough or a cold and phlegm comes up your throat, do you spit it out or swallow it instead?
For me it depends on how much there is. If it's a little amount, I just swallow it.

Nah, I try to cough it up then spit it out tho I end up gagging most of the time but I get it out in the end even though I look like i've been crying!

Aren't you meant to spit it out? You'll be coughing it back up after a short while, I think you recover faster when you get it out of your system.
I hate it when people spit on the floor though
