She has a lot of hope that people will agree with that assessment come January when she plans on releasing her debut album. For that CD, she’s working with some of the best and hottest writers in Los Angeles — including Jukebox, who wrote Willow Smith’s hit “Whip My Hair,” Great Scott, who wrote “Wall to Wall” for Chris Brown, and producer Micayle “Mack” McKinney, who was nominated for two Grammys for Ne-Yo’s “Year of the Gentleman.”
Wow, she got a record deal? And others like SIOBHAN MAGNUS and Katie Stevens didn't? This is seriously making me pissed.
I don't think it's all that surprising. Simon did say she had the best voice of the girls this past season. By that he meant she had the most marketable voice... But she was a pretty talented girl. Siobhan will probably get a record deal.
She was a MESS on Idol . These songs don't sound much better than her performances on the show. If she's going to release one of these songs, it would have to be Waste of Time or Lucky.
