I often hear people saying he shouldn't have got one.
Other say people only complain due to racism.
Do y'all think he deserved it, if yes, actual reasons why.
If not, why also.

I think that it was probably a bit premature, considering he was nominated just two weeks after his inauguration and won just nine months into his first term.

I'm skimming through the wiki page about his award, and apparently a bunch of people thought that he won as an insult to / condemnation of Bush's presidency.


Apparently Hillary is currently nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize.
We'll find out Friday if she won.

I think all peace is noble and should be what we all go for. I didn't know Obama won but I guess it's his now.

I didn't think Obama deserved it either. I tried to find a particular policy or stance of his that held him above the nominees, but I can't.

Even as a supporter I feel like we must acknowledge her flaws and mistakes.

Girl even the top republicans admitted it was a silly witch-hunt to stop her from running for office. They wasted 125 million $ of tax money on failed trials and investigations yet she's now free and the winning candidate. That money could have been given to the Benghazi families but I guess the GOP never actually cared about them until they needed to exploit them at the RNC.

You've seen my posts before? And? I have never expressed support for either candidate on ATRL before. But I want Hillary to win the election. Intriguingly, she's one of the only Democrats I would support, and Trump is one of the only Republicans I wouldn't support, hence my switch in party support.

Benghazi was a disaster. Trials and investigations failed to show the failings of the US and UK government in Iraq; it doesn't mean what happened there wasn't unnecessary.

Clinton has made many mistakes in her life but Benghazi is not one of them.

He's worthy

Nobel peace price is a joke. Hitler and Stalin were both nominated. White Helmets, the al-Qaeda affiliated group is nominated now along with Hillary, who bears personal responsibilities for the situation in Iraq, Libya and Syria. Obama won, and his next move was arming islamic rebels in Syria. Joke.

Aside from being the first Black President (which is monumental) he hadn't really achieved anything else at that time but he had pledged to do some great things such as the closure of Guantanamo Bay, a major effort to tackle climate change and I think that's why he won it. It's just a shame some of them never happened. He was really painted as a new prophet of world politics that was going to make everything alright and I think he got it too soon. Nonetheless I think he was a great President and made America likeable again after Bush made it the worlds embarrassment.
