I decided to play it again (after realizing you need to DELETE your data before playing the demo again, otherwise you just do the same loops and encounter the ghost with nothing else happening).
And it's the scariest game ever. I literally screamed and jumped so much. I don't know if you guys know this, but Konami cancelled the new Silent Hill game and I believe Capcom took the idea and used it for Resident Evil 7.
No offense but P.T. >>>>>> Resident Evil 7 demo.
RE7 wasn't bad by any means, but it didn't scare me. The looping in P.T. was pretty iconic and the few puzzles within it, all within the same loops of a hallway. Not only that, but P.T. demo offered more on the table of what to expect than RE7 (even with the new update).
Konami made the worst decision in history IMO. Now instead we have Resident Evil 7 which probably won't even come close to what P.T. could've been in full.
I didn't get to play it because I didn't have a PS4 at the time (and still don't, probably wont because this game is cancelled)
You can watch the game's demo here, but knowing you aren't in control of the character, it loses it's scare factor. They said, "If you didn't download it while it was on the store, you can never have the chance to download it since it was removed."
I guess I was lucky I heard about it and downloaded it before it got removed.
P.S. This game works best with headphones cranked loud. It's sooooo scary.
This walkthrough is longer so maybe it'll be scarier since it's not rushed? But a guy is talking over it...
I played the P.T Demo but I got bored when I went around for the 5th time in a circle and nothing happened
Did you Google? The same thing happened to me and I Google'd it. Every time you do a "loop" something different happens. It's part of a puzzle. So basically after 15 loops, you did that many puzzles.
Of course, I'm not the greatest a puzzles sometimes so I got stuck after looping a bunch.
Like after the third loop, the one door closes. You have to turn around and go toward the bathroom door and hear it rattle. Then walk toward the door again and it'll open. Then repeat, but switched. The bathroom door will open this time...
Honestly, the Silent Hills game would've been a let down after the PT demo. It wouldn't have lived up to the hype. You could tell from the ending preview that it was totally different. PT in itself though is an amazing short game.
