Christina Aguilera released her flop studio album Bionic and debuted at number three on the Billboard 200 with 110,000 copies sold, with the Glee soundtrack taking the number two spot and Twilight taking the number one spot. The album continued to flop when she released her second single, "Woohoo" which debuted at number 79 on the Billboard Hot 100. Apparently it doesn't keep gettin' better for Christina.
RIP CHRISTINA AGUILERA'S CAREER June 22, 1999 - April 29, 2010
Christina Aguilera's Career, 10, died April 29, 2010 when the music video for the embarrassing flop single 'Not Myself Tonight' was released.
Born on June 22, 1999 with the release of "Genie In a Bottle", it made Christina Aguilera famous, which lasted until promotion for the album 'Stripped' ended. A failure album, 'Back to Basics' was released, but it was clear Christina's career was in danger. Christina's career took a massive hit when a then irrelevant Christina decided to open her mouth to the media and say "This person [Lady Gaga] was just brought to my attention not too long ago. I’m not quite sure who this person is, to be honest. I don’t know if it is a man or a woman. I just wasn’t sure." Christina's career experienced its final battle when the single 'Not Myself Tonight' was released and plummeted down the Top 100 charts. The try-hard, copy cat, pathetic video for 'Not Myself Tonight' was such a failure, Christina's career finally ended after a long and hard battle of trying to keep Christina relevant.
Christina's career is survived by its flop ~owner~, Christina, her husband, Jordan, and their son, Max Liro (~My Greatest Song~), and Christina's delusional stans.
The Aguilera family requests that in lieu of flowers, you go and buy the 'Not Myself Tonight' single
Let's all have a moment of silence and reminisce the good days when wasn't a flop. Thank you.
