She uses her haters to promote her corporate feminism. She complains about how female artists are treated but let's observe something here - what other female artist is talked about in the same way Taylor is? Taylor is the only female artist to be bad mouthed for her dating habits. Why? BECAUSE SHE PUT IT OUT THERE! SHE BUILT HER CAREER OFF OF HER RELATIONSHIPS AND NOW SHE THINKS SHE CAN BE MAD THAT PEOPLE KNOW ABOUT IT? Literally, no other artist is talked down like this because no other artist makes it a point to have their personal life on display like she does.
We all knew girls like Taylor in high school and that's why those of us who don't have blinders on can see how awful she really is. She holds all the qualities of a manipulative and emotionally abusive friend and partner. Yeah, I said she's abusive. It takes a lot more than visiting sick kids in a hospital to be a decent person. Anyone can go out and do a good deed and post about it so everyone knows they did something good.. It takes a strong and courageous person to admit your flaws and be a kind and humble idividual.
Don't get mad when people call her a **** because she did the same to Camilla Belle. Don't get mad when people call her stuck up because look what she did to Harry at award shows. Don't get mad when people call her a fame ***** because check out the way she's always looking directly in to the paparazzi lenses. Don't get mad when people call her a fake feminist because she will stand up for women in the music industry but she won't lift a finger to help a young girl in poverty (just to put it out there, Katy Perry is an ambassador for UNICEF and works in person with children in Africa).
I'm sick of young girls idolising her and I'm sick of mothers allowing their daughters to believe that this kind of behaviour is ok. Taylor is not what women should aspire to be. I hope there are mothers out there who want their daughters to aspire to a position higher than that of someone who profits off of the take down of other human beings.
