Idk what to expect from this album, listened to the new songs and they were just *there*. Star of Love was front to back full of cute quirky bops, but then there's Cave Rave, which fell flat and didn't really have any memorable moments. Hopefully this album is more like their debut, they better come through.
The first half sounds enjoyable, but rather empty. The second half feels more meaningful, but doesn't fully commit so it sounds unenjoyable. Live For You manages to split the difference well, but the rest is oddly unsatisfying.
I'm really disappointed by this album. 'All Night' is average, but still the best song of the album. The rest of it is awful. 'Cave Rave' was such a good album
There are some cute moments on the second half, but I wouldn't say it's enough
