Any members dance professionally? How do you find good dance crew studios to audition and compete in?
Ive been thinking about pursuing dance as a career for years but ive been holding myself back..I know that im good enough i just need to go out there and find a studio so that i can get started.. i just dont know how exactly to do it.. a lot of studios are geared towards kids or intermediate dance classes for those trying to learn... i want to find a studio where great dancers get together and create choreos and routines
Yes, I am a professional dancer, hello. I found my current dance company because I went to see one of their shows when they were performing in my local theatre and I was completely blown away so I auditioned for the company straight away in the next season and got in.
It really depends on your age and gender too though. To throw yourself in at the deep end of dance, you need to have great rhythm, timing, flexibility and strength. Dance is such a competitive business and I've trained for almost a decade now to get where I am today
