I've seen people/ youtubers who are pro black and talk about racism and social issues and challenging white privilege get called sell outs because they are married to a white person and question their credibility saying " You're sleeping with the enemy, how can you talk about blackness when you're married to a white person etc etc". So ATRL, can you be woke/pro black and date a white person?

Yeah I dont see why not. I thought being "pro black"(i hate that word) just meant trying to progress the black community. You can date/marry white and still give back to the black community and try to solve racial inequality and systematic racism. People who think its 'tainting' our blood or sleeping with the enemy or that somehow marrying a black person means you do more for the black community than someone who marries white and gives money and time towards black issues is likely a racist.

not going to lie, when i found out chescaleigh was married to a white man i kinda side eyed ha. But i do understand that there are SOME white people who are just as woke/pro black as anybody. But at the end of the day only a another black person can understand my struggle.
