Breaking my pre-debates election hiatus, but I've been itching to go in on Trump all week.
Part of the reason Trump won't release his tax records is because of how deeply troubling his relationship with Russian financial backers would look to the American public. His tax records would also reveal how much he inflates his percentage of ownership in most of those hotels mentioned in the OP. He doesn't even have a majority ownership stake in any of those properties besides Trump Tower in NYC and Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
He's essentially the Joanne the Scammer of billionaires that has deluded a disheartening number of Americans into believing he's some competent business magnate who can improve this country with little to no comprehensive plan. This is why other billionaires like Mark Cuban and Michael Bloomberg are campaigning against him despite the fact that they personally have more to gain from his wealthy-centric tax plan.
