And with the way her career is developing, we’ll be seeing much more of Lizzy Caplan on the red carpet. Season 4 of “Masters of Sex” kicks off on Sept. 11, and she recently completed work on the Robert Zemeckis film “Allied,” in which she co-stars with A-listers Marion Cotillard and Brad Pitt.
“Now, I haven’t been around too many real movie stars, but the first day the two of them had this scene where he carries her over a threshold and sets her down and kisses her,” she says. “I looked at the monitor while it was happening and it was like light emanated from the two of them. I thought, ‘Oh, I see, this is some next-level stuff.’ It’s taken 20 years, but I finally get it.”
