It feels most new artist are just one hit wonders or just fade away really quickly.What do u think?

Pop music isn't as big as it used to be and most of these new popstars don't have the actual popstar package. No charisma, mediocre, samey music, no uniqueness etc.

They dont care about an artists' artistic growth or whatsoever anymore

There's actually plenty of room. Who were the pop girls in 2010-2011? Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Katy Perry, Rihanna and Kesha?

Britney: over
Lady Gaga: over
Katy Perry: won't be as successful anymore, getting old as well
Beyonce: doing her own thing, ditched the pop world

I can see someone breaking through in the next three years and staying for a while.

We are in a transition period. However, the music world wont be what it used to be. Pop stars won't be generated by the label. The next line of stars will be multi-cultural and will have to create their own way tbqh. Labels control radio but they don't control streaming. If people like the song nothing can stop someone from listening to the song.

Idk but with the current songs and trends of music that are present in 2016, I'd rather have a new pop girl debut near the end of the decade. I'd rather not have the Selena Gomez/Justin Bieber/Halsey sound influence the next big pop girl (if we ever get to see her)
