The Chainsmokers, Calvin Harris and will.i.am have jumped on it, will it become a trend?

No because most artists can sell enough albums to make the investment worthwhile.

It works for DJs because no one's really going to buy an album from them.
People only use them for quick little singles.

Hopefully not. There's a lot of instances where some of my favorite songs from a campaign are obscure album tracks that never get released as singles

DJ´s prolly will atleast. and more will come, but most artists still will, but maybe not in the traditional form
