I used to always do it as a kid! I stopped wen i found out that it takes ages to digest gum

I was told as a kid that if I swallowed gum it will get stuck in my stomach or throat and I will die.

No. When I was young I would swallow gum and paper and tin foil and it made a blockage in my intestines. I had to have emergency surgery
