So Janet's going to Hong Kong with her Number Ones tour. She hasn't announced any other dates and I don't know when she will! Hong Kong's pretty close by, so it's probably the best city to go to.

I figured that I would need to spend $600 for an entire weekend:

SIN - HK: $185
HK - SIN: $70

Accommodation: $52

Tickets: $200

Spend: $50

TOTAL: $600

I have $30 in my bank account and it's especially hard to save. Should I take a loan from somebody and try to save? What if she announces a date in Singapore after I've bought everything. Ugh, this is killing me.

Hard Decision. If It were me I would wait to see if she announced that she was going to have a show in Singapore before I pay 600$. I personally would not want to take the risk of paying 600$ only to here that she is going to Singapore, but this is still a very hard choice to make.

Honestly dont do what i did and wait, i purchased my Gaga tickets 4 hrs away from where i live and like 3 months after she's doing another show in my city the day before and that pissed me off but hey now im going twice in a week lol but seriously wait

While I'm not a Janet fan, my opinion is unbiased. You should wait it out...isn't she coming out with a new album next year anyway? I'm sure she'll tour in late 2011 or 2012 to promote the new stuff. Wouldn't you rather save up for then instead of borrowing? You would still get to see your favorite and it will be even better b/c its a new tour with new material...assuming she does tour for the new album

You should only go in debt when you have absolutely no choice. Debt will only cost you more money. You really need to learn this lesson now, that if you can't afford something you have to let it go. Cause if you still haven't learned it when you're a working adult, then you'll end up one of those people who have so much debt that half their income goes to paying off interest.
