Chris Brown: "My Character's Been Defaced"

Chris Brown opened up about his recent arrest in a new video obtained by ABC News on Tuesday, September 6.
"I cannot wait till the truth comes to light about this incident and this situation. You know, because my character's been defaced and who I am as a person and my integrity," Brown, 27, says in the clip. "I'm glad that all my real supporters know me, and know the truth and they'll see the truth."
As previously reported, police swarmed Brown's home in Tarzana, California, on Tuesday, August 30, after a woman named Baylee Curran accused him of aiming a gun at her head. Curran called 911 after the rapper allegedly got mad at her for admiring a piece of jewelry inside his estate. She claims she was kicked out and refused to sign a nondisclosure agreement.
Brown was arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon the same day that the police came. He was released from jail on $250,000 bail around 11 p.m. local time.
Brown's lawyer, Mark Geragos, believes that Curran — a former beauty pageant contestant — set the entertainer up. Per Geragos, she texted a friend before she contacted the police. He shared the alleged text with ABC.
"This freak Chris Brown is kicking me out of his house because I called his friend's jewelry fake," the text message reportedly reads. "I'm going to set him up and call the cops and say that he tried to shoot me and that will teach him a lesson. I'm going to set his ass up."
Additionally, Geragos told ABC that a search was done on Brown's property and surveillance cameras were investigated.
"They went in, and said they had a description of the piece of jewelry. Not found in the house. They went in, a gun, not found in the house," he claims. "There's no Chris Brown waving a gun. No Baylee looking at a box of jewelry."
Curran gave her side of the story to Extra. “I don’t lie, I would never lie. Why, for what? I don’t need the publicity," she said on August 30. "I’m already kind of well-known being Miss California Regional, modeling, upcoming actress, so if I was doing this for fame or something of that sort why would I do it this way?”
Brown and Curran have both had trouble with the law before. The "Forever" singer pleaded guilty to assaulting his then-girlfriend Rihanna in 2009 and completed six years of probation in 2015. Curran is allegedly still wanted in New York for stealing a $1,000 Louis Vuitton purse from The Plaza Hotel three years ago.

LMAO, he's the one that poses with gang members, guns, degrades women in his lyrics and IG captions, beat his girlfriend, gets into fights, busted his mom's window with a brick, threw a chair out of a window, made homophobic remarks, fought Frank Ocean, threw bottles in a club, got arrested for punching a man in the face, cheated on his GF publically and had a child.

I remember when the Rihanna thing happened and while it was repugnant, I was also adopting a "wait and see" attitude because that didn't have to be what defined him for the rest of his life if he didn't want it to be.
And well... he's basically just an asshole now so....

Does he really think that this tarnished his name? 
Someone needs to give this guy a reality check, he's been a mess since 2009. Everyone's negative perception of his character is self inflicted and he will never ever have my sympathy.
