ATRL, I'm coming to you for advice. Last night I cooked slices of chicken breast, placed them in a sealed glass container, and refrigerated them. Later, I took them out and forgot to put them back in. They sat on the counter overnight for about six hours.
The danger zone is 4 to 60 degrees C and cooked chicken left out longer than 4 fours is hard to salvage (in all honesty most places say 2 hours max for caution and 1 hour if the temperature is over 32 degrees C).
