To be fair, I've witnessed a lot of gays shamelessly throw themselves at straight guys and make awkward innuendo comments that you could tell make straight guys visibly uncomfortable but I guess they don't say anything cuz they don't wanna be rude.

I think it's a mild form of homophobia. They're a bit uncomfortable saying "I love gay people/I support gay people/I don't care if people are gay", so they throw in "but I don't want them hitting on me!!!!" as an insurance so people don't think they are gay. I don't know any straight guys who honestly support gays that would ever say that. It's the insecure ones.

I've seen so many gay creeps hitting on UGLY straight men tryna get touchy and talk dirty. I don't blame the straights for wanting to keep a distance from the gays. So many gay men out there are mentally disturbed pervs and they give us a bad reputation.

I've seen so many gay guys purposely hit on straight guys to to the point they're very uncomfortable, and when the gay guys get told how it is they always use the excuse "They just don't know they're gay" or "They're in the closet."

I partially agree with the OP, I had a friend who stopped talking to me after I came out. We had known each other since elementary school. I even hooked him up with one of my good girlfriends, he told her that he felt uncomfortable because he fought that I would look at him sexually. First of all, he would never be my type, 2nd he was like a brother, third, when he came as a new student to school, I was literally the only who was open to be friends with him. His delusion was real. But I have also witnessed a plethora of gays throw themselves at straight guys far worse than hoes trying to make $20.

I wouldn't say they all do. It's just that the idea makes them sick or uncomfortable. I'm the same way with women. I don't want them to state that they're attracted to me. I was assaulted once by a drunk chick at a party who didn't believe that I was gay. But of the straight guys I hang around, they don't care. You just have to find guys who are open about life. Life is fun and you shouldn't take it seriously

Lots of gays are obsessed with straight guys so I can see why they say it.

I think it does happen in countries where it is more accepting of homos..but in other countries like the eastern part of Europe(where gays keep it to themselves) it almost never happens...I get so irritated when some breeder tells me that cuz most of the time it hasn't even happened to them
