Hopefully more wealthy people follow in her footsteps. Imagine how many world problems would be solved if rich people were more charitable? Nobody needs as much money as some people in this world have, but tons of people need just a little more than they do have to survive.
I wonder if Cursed Child (play), Cursed Child (play book), Fantastic Beasts (published screenplay), Fantastic Beasts (film), 3 new mini-eBooks, Harry Potter merchandise sales and theme park attendance will push her back over a billion this / next year. I guess it depends on how much she gave away.
Why any billionaire exists is beyond me - what a disgustingly selfish amount of money to hoard. (I'm aware the lady in my avatar may be similar, though I like to think she has a LOT invested in her Malawi projects - there's no concrete proof. Either way she could do a hell of a lot more, but I understand it's quite difficult to give enormous amounts of sales away without questioning the charity's integrity)
