Louisiana food bank thanks Taylor for $50k donation
After a very generous donation of $1 million to Louisiana flood relief last week, Taylor Swift has donated another $50,000 to the Baton Rouge Food Bank to help Louisiana recover from the flooding.
Interesting all these press releases that come out whenever she makes a donation thanking her. Very unusual for charities to do that.
There's nothing unusual about it. Charities do that all the time, especially if it's someone famous since it raises awareness and therefore boosts donations from other people.
Yeah, because that amount of money is done by everyone.
And name-checking Taylor is not a way to get publicity and help motivate others to give money too.
