For some reason I cringe every time people say it, like they're doing the utmost to not offend anybody. Usually you can tell a SJW and regular person apart by the inclusion of Q

I do. I add it because the acronym itself is ever changing and the Q is a part of it's evolution.

"Q" mostly stands for "questioning" which is important. There are so many ppl who cannot label themselves just yet but still feel a part of our community so they do not fit in the LGBT acronym. it is important to create a space for them. Whether they transition away from the Q into the other letters in time or whether they feel like they should stay in the Q=questioning category forever is up to them but all in all I think to cast away the Q as unimportant or dumb is not right. Think about it sis.

q stands for queer, not questioning i thought.
queer is a label in its own right. not one of confusion but one that doesnt want to be labeled so narrowly. its also not specifically about sexual orientation actually. its a political thing.

Queer is defined as strange; odd so no I don't use it. It's not off or strange to be LGBT...

And saying Q stands for questioning is utter foolery.

Nope. LGBT is inclusive enough. Especially if you say the T stands for trans* which is all inclusive of minority gender identities. G B and L are honestly enough for people with same sex attractions. Bisexual doesn't mean you like both equally necessarily. Why do we need the word queer?
