I don't think this was a tribute, they just flashed her picture at the end of the episode. I'm pretty sure there's going to be an actual tribute later in the season.

As usual you can barely hear the singing apart from Adam's caterwauling at the end, they need to stop letting him sing.

Not a tribute if it not clear, if it wasn't for the picture at the end of the episode no one would have expeculated that's a tribute.
She would ideally need a full show, without the current season contestans...
They better bring the coaches from her season and her idols (Not all but some) like Xtina, Celine, Stacie Orico, Twenty One Pilots, Fun., Tori Kelly and specially the contestants she was friends with (Some are from other seasons too) and of course youtubers like Sam Tsui & Kurt, Mike Tompkins, etc... and go sing her songs... Too bad they can't sing some unrelased songs fans know... Colorblind would be great.
