Americans are so fat they can't tell normal weight?

A lot of ATRLers, who are mostly American, were calling her "too thin" and saying she "looked sick". I've seen this kind of comment elsewhere too, in real life and on the internet. Any girl (or guy!) who has visible collar bones or some bones in their torso is automatically judged to be an anorexic or too thin for comfort.
On the other hand, Americans are 70% overweight, and around 30% obese. Is the HUGE amount of overweight people in the States affecting Americans' ability to tell if someone is actually too thin? Is it that people who are still thin and toned like Ariana just look SO different than the average American woman that they can no longer tell what is supposed to be a thin-but-healthy body type?
But there is still a lot of thin Americans and even more in magazines, and media etc. Ariana is too very and the pic of them women don't even look size 12 though, they look bigger.
No, Ariana isn't too thin. She's a good weight and she looks beautiful. She should NOT be pressured to conform to the average American female body. She should be proud of her body and how she looks, she looks amazing, most men think so! Nothing wrong with being petite.
It's common to be able to see your bones in South East Asia, most of Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, West Asia, India, etc. It's the US that's the weird one. It's such a rich country the people must have too much to eat lol. Ariana's physique represents that of women all over the world from all different cultures, and she should be proud of it.
I can see bones on my hands, on my ribcage, etc, and I look amazing (because I go to the gym all the time so I have a low bodyfat% and big muscles).
Every American citizen commented in that thread with the same opinion? Credit card girl could NEVER
I'm not gonna assume anything about her wellbeing for now.
