Teen Murders His Mother With A Hammer & Dumps Body
PHILADELPHIA - Police have charged a 16-year-old Philadelphia boy with killing his mother with a hammer.
Police identified the boy as Kendall Anderson, of the 400 block of Jackson Street, and his mother was 37-year-old Rashida Anderson.
The teen faces charges of murder, abuse of a corpse and abuse of a corpse.
Homicide Sgt. Tim Cooney told the Philadelphia Daily News that the boy fatally beat his mother with a hammer and a piece of a chair, then dragged her body into an alley and covered it with debris.

A lot of cities are bad, but Philly is terrible. I'm from Philly too and almost every time the news comes on it's about another couple murders. A couple of years ago it was the worst city in regards to homicides, even charting higher than Camden. It's been getting better over the last year or two but its still horrible.
