They always have a habit of shoving their non-beliefs down your throat.
And they go on about atheism all the time. But it's like, good sis, if you don't believe anything, what is there even to talk about? Why do they need to reinforce how much "better" they are than believers?
On the internet they can be but those types are usually also MRA gamers who rant about how much they hate feminists all day. I don't think the majority of atheists are any more annoying than the majority of religious folk.
Because everyone else is always shoving their beliefs down their throats? In many places religion is still a very important part of culture. And if you are a person who has zero belief in it, I imagine you'd always be put in a position where ypur lack of faith would be questioned?

In my experience, I've found that a lot of atheists like dragging you into some weird "prove your God" conversation. I don't think they are all like this at all and I have definitely met a lot of nice atheists who have no problem with people who have different beliefs - but I would say most atheists I have met have always been insistent on having at least one "prove your God" conversation.
I mean, anyone who is dogmatic in their belief systems/way of life comes off as bigoted and pretentious
There are lots of atheists with a live and let live mentality though
