News: Anti-Imperialist Military School to Open in Bolivia

The Bolivian President Evo Morales has opened a new military defence academy, which he says will offer courses to counter the influence of the United States in the developing world.

I think it's pretty understandable how countries like Bolivia, Ecuador and Nicaragua are very wary of the US. This school sounds like a commendable effort to promote peace, but I don't know.

I honestly think they should focus on the primary education of their people first and foremost. That region is full of incultured people and not exposing them to current world trends will hinder the globalization process and worsen their lives.
