Discussion: Have you ever experienced precognitive dreaming

Precognitive dreaming is basically when you dream about something and it happens later on in life.

I've actually experienced this quite a few times thought I had magic powers the first time it happened to me.

I was at the mall with my friend and we were in Forever 21 looking for clothes for her and she wanted me to try on these pants because she knew my ass was gonna look popping in them.

When I walked out of the dressing room, it came to me that I had experienced that exact moment before and I remembered that I had dreamt it a couple of years ago. The weird thing is that I had actually met my friend in person for the first time that day. It's crazy that I dreamt about being at the mall with someone who was a complete stranger at the time instead of someone I actually knew.

Do you guys have any other experiences like this or have been apart of someone's precognitive dream?

I have these ALL the time. I feel like I have these and Deja-vu at least twice a week

Quite often when I was younger.

It made my nightmares that much more terrifying.

Pretty much. Do you ever think you're reliving a dream or do you just feel like you've experienced that moment before?

I think this has definitely happened to me - like I've had deja vu moments, but I'm like 99% sure I've never actually experienced that moment before, it must've been a dream.

It's funny when you just store something a dream as your memory and you don't realize for a long time that something didn't really happen.

Dreams are so fascinating.

Yes! Every time I bring it up, my friends are like "that's because we've been here before" or "you probably just blanked for a second" But I think there's more to it than that

Too bad my precognitive dreaming is about boring things cause otherwise I would basically be Raven Symone.

Yes. I had a dream a few years ago that I would be a bad bitch and voila

YES. I was dreaming of like witnessing the Earth just tear open. 10 minutes later a minor earthquake happened at like 4am. It was so odd too like we don't even get earthquakes here

There were a few more but they were like interactions of random things. Like mostly the scenery and the people were in it.

I feel like I do suffer from some immense deja-vu because I been feeling like I experienced something before every week

one night i dreamt that my good friend's sister was urgently admitted to the hospital due to complications with her pregnancy. She was currently 7 months in gestation. The following morning, we had our first class together, so i asked if her sister was okay now? My friend was pale as a ghost, she asked me how i knew, so i told her about the dream. Well it turns out her sister was admitted to the hospital that morning because her placenta had ruptured. Both her and the baby pulled through and are a happy family.

Yes!

It happens like max twice a month but it's so interesting and different from déjà vu because it's always the next day my dream plays out after I've had it. There's been like 5 times I've been with people and I'll say what will happen next and that does happen and they're like "how?!" and I explain. At a certain point it just stops (where the dream ends) and I can't no longer say what will happen next.

I'm pretty decent at remembering my dreams but it's almost always the dreams I struggle to remember the most that are precognitive.

Déjà vu is different because I can't recall many things besides a few details but it happens about the same amount. I love talking about/experiencing this kind of stuff.

I just realized a few weeks ago I dreamt about this boy having a class with me and flirting with me. Now that school is back in not only do we have a class with each other, but he sits next to me.

I think I might be getting the D ladies.
