Zap2It writer Lindsay MacDonald posted a short analysis of five female celebrities who haven’t ardently declared themselves to be feminists. Among them was Clarkson, whom MacDonald chastised for being wishy-washy about the term.

The Stronger singer told Time in 2013 that she didn’t see herself a feminist, but later clarified in a Huffington Post interview that she was simply afraid of being stigmatized as a “man-hater.”

“…we’re still calling shenanigans on it,” MacDonald wrote. “You’re either a feminist or you’re not, social stigmas and colloquial definitions notwithstanding.”

Welp, Kelly didn’t take too kindly to the assessment, and moved to make her thoughts on on equality clear.
