The hashtag "#SaveTwitter" has been surfacing on the social media website after closing reports.
Youtuber BradTheLadLong collected thousands of hate messages that he received and got endorsements from several human rights campaigns to encourage shutting the website down, claiming it boosts cyber-bullying. Another pending California lawsuit is suing Twitter for allegedly being part in the rise and recruitment of the Islamic State.
Currently, "#SaveTwitter" is the number 1 trending topic worldwide, due to mass outrage from the public.
I don't get this cyber bullying thing. Yes, people should be held accountable for their actions but if you can't handle social media then just delete your ****ing account. Don't take it away from other people just because you're too spineless to do anything to help yourself.
Twitter needs to step up its game and remove trolls. It's despicable someone can write to someone telling them to kill themselves and not be permanently IP banned.
